Carlo F. Sente was born in Luxembourg as the son of culturally engaged parents. He grew up in an Anglo-American neighborhood and later attended the Luxembourg Art Academy. After being awarded a French Embassy Literature Prize at the age of sixteen, he decided to pursue a career as a novel writer. He also worked as a specialist in arts and and antiques and as a counselor for architectural renovation. With his wife Nicole, he was awarded the highest German award for their engagement in the preservation of historic properties.
Carlo F. Sente lives in Castle Wolsfeld in the German Eifel.
